Nutrition 101 Seminar

Nutrition can be a daunting topic, but it’s one of the most important pieces of the puzzle in getting fit. We’re hosting a free nutrition seminar for members only on Saturday, February 24 with Coach Laura – who in addition to being at the gym, is a Precision Nutrition Certified coachand has been working with individuals around the world to lose weight, gain muscle mass, and fuel their performance for the last four years.

The goal of this seminar is to help you navigate the overabundance of nutrition information and strategies in the industry and help you determine an approach that works best for your goals.

The seminar is for anyone looking to create lasting, sustainable, positive habits that will lead to better nutrition, sleep, recovery, and health over the long run.

It doesn’t matter what your nutritional knowledge is, you will learn as we go. We will implement positive decision making strategies to help you achieve your goals.

Topics discussed will include:

  • The macronutrients: proteins, carbs and fats
  • Correct caloric intake for my goals
  • Correct portion sizes
  • Which “type” of diet is best?
  • How to lose weight
  • How to gain weight/muscle
  • Eating to sustain energy throughout the day

Open Gym on the 24th will be moved to 12:30-1:30 for individuals who need to complete Open Workout 18.1.
